New Delhi: On the auspicious occasion of the 9th International Yoga Day, President Droupadi Murmu emphasized that yoga is a priceless gift from India to the world. Showcasing her dedication to this ancient practice, she actively engaged in yoga sessions held at the prestigious Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Yoga, as President Murmu highlighted, stands tall as one of our civilization's greatest achievements and India's magnificent offering to the global community. By fostering a harmonious union of the body and mind, yoga embodies a holistic approach to life. In an ever-evolving world filled with mounting challenges, yoga equips us with the strength to conquer them, both physically and mentally," President Murmu eloquently expressed.

President Murmu passionately encouraged individuals from all walks of life to embrace yoga as an integral part of their daily routines. She urged, "On this momentous day, I implore everyone to adopt yoga into their lives and unlock the immense transformative power it holds."

Prime Minister Modi Extols International Yoga Day:  Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm wishes to the citizens of India on the occasion of the 9th International Yoga Day. He emphasized the historical significance of over 180 countries coming together in response to India's call.

Presently on his maiden state visit to the United States, Prime Minister Modi is poised to lead the celebrations of International Yoga Day at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. In a video message, he shared, "At approximately 5:30 pm IST, I will participate in the Yoga program being organized at the United Nations headquarters. The united efforts of more than 180 countries responding to India's proposal for Yoga Day in 2014 remains an extraordinary achievement."
