Lucknow: The administration has taken major action against encroachment in Ayodhya, the city of Shri Ram. The administration here has bulldozed 36 shops while taking action against encroachments. On Wednesday (November 23), the administration demolished 36 shops on Ramgulela Marg, the exit route of Ayodhya's Ram Janmabhoomi.

There was a lot of commotion during this action of the administration. The aggrieved shopkeepers say that the district administration has demolished the shops without any information and the people of the administration have also taken away the goods. At the same time, the district administration officials have termed these allegations of shopkeepers as baseless. Officials have said that the widening work to make Bhakti Path Marg is going on for the last several days. Information about this was given earlier, but even after that, the shops were not vacated.

Officials have informed that after being warned several times, the goods of all the shops have been deposited in safe warehouses late at night. Also, the places have been evacuated as per the intention of the administration. It has also been told that this place belongs to Nazul land, while the shopkeepers are claiming that the case of dispute over this land is pending in the court.
