Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi Adityanath has started Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana. Under this scheme, the government will help the children who have lost their parents during the Corona period. This scheme has been prepared to keep in mind the upbringing of the affected children to their education and secure future. At the same time, under this scheme, an announcement has also been made to give 1 lakh 1 thousand rupees to the girls who were orphaned during the corona epidemic when they reach the age of marriage.

According to the information, when the girls are of marriageable age, then the state government will give them 1 lakh 1 thousand rupees. For this, the Yogi government has also issued detailed guidelines on Wednesday (July 28, 2021). At the same time, the Department of Women and Child Development has also sent the prescribed format to the districts to get the benefit of this scheme. Instructions have been given to complete the verification of necessary documents in 15 days for providing financial help. In the order issued by Principal Secretary V Hekali Jhimomi, it has been said that only girls who are getting benefits under Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana will be given financial assistance, grant money for their marriage. The age of the bridegroom should not be less than 21 years and that of the bride should not be less than 18 years as on the date fixed for the marriage. One has to apply in this scheme 90 days before the date of marriage or 90 days after the marriage.

To get the benefit of this scheme of the state government, girls themselves or their parents or guardians will apply offline. Along with this, necessary documents will be required to be attached. Thereafter, the application form has to be submitted to the concerned Village Development Officer, Gram Panchayat Officer or Development Block, or District Probation Officer in rural areas. To get the benefit of this scheme in urban areas, the application will have to be submitted to the concerned Lekhpal or District Probation Officer's office. This facility is not for those who got married before June 2. Grant will be given for marriages that take place after this date. Let us inform you that the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana was started on 2nd June itself.
