On Tuesday, CM Yogi Adityanath has taken many tough decisions after a high-level meeting. In order to strictly follow social distancing to prevent coronavirus infection, CM Yogi has said that the local district administration can evaluate the situation and impose curfew where necessary. Along with this, it has also been decided to set up community kitchens to make essential commodities uninterrupted and provide bread to the poor.

CM Yogi Adityanath has appealed to the people to give their full support to the detainees with automatic vigour. Instructions have also been given to send 'Pooja Samagri' to the local mohallas in view of Navratri starting on Wednesday. So far, 1326 cases have been registered under Section 188 in the cities locked up in the state. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that in the last 10 days, about one lakh people from outside are also being monitored. On Tuesday, Additional Chief Secretary Home and Principal Secretary Health Mohan Prasad gave detailed information about the decisions and instructions taken by the Chief Minister for the prevention of coronavirus.

Regarding this matter, the officials said that if a black market of any essential item was caught, the NSA would also be charged against the accused. The Chief Minister gave a number of strict instructions on Tuesday morning after video conferencing with officials, drug dealers and members of the trade board. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi and DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi will review all districts in terms of law and order.
