Chandigarh: The Punjab Police has released a video message regarding Amritpal Singh, the head of the pro-Khalistani organisation 'Waris Punjab De'. The police have said in their video message that you (Amritpal) can run away but cannot escape from the long arm of the law.' This message from the Punjab Police regarding Amritpal Singh has come a day after the police arrested his close aide Pappal Preet Singh from Amritsar district under the National Security Act (NSA) on Monday.

Posting the before and after video of Pappal Preet Singh on Twitter and Facebook, the Punjab Police wrote, 'You (Amritpal) can run away, but you cannot hide from the long arm of the law.' Punjab Police has said that we urge the citizens to maintain peace and harmony in the area.' A police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar left Amritsar on Tuesday (April 11) morning to take Pappal Preet Singh to Dibrugarh Jail in Assam.

Police took Pappal Preet by air to Dibrugarh Jail in Assam. He was taken from Guru Ramdas International Airport. Let us tell you that Pappal Preet Singh is also accused of being in contact with Pakistan's intelligence agency, ISI. Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh is still at large after absconding from the police in Jalandhar district on March 18, while many of his associates have been arrested by the police.
