Recently, a sensational revelation surfaced on Friday in the case of burnt corpse found on the roadside near Kiratowal village of Tarn Taran. This corpse was said to be of 27-year-old businessman Anoop Singh, who came out alive. He plotted to kill himself to grab an insurance amount of 6 crore rupees. According to the Tarn Taran police, people of Kirtowal village in the district saw a burnt corpse on the roadside on Thursday morning. The villagers informed the police. SP (countryside) Jagjit Singh Walia said that the police reached the spot and started the investigation. The burnt body was lying, the young man's car was also standing there. After examining the documents, it was found that the car belonged to a young man named Anoop, a resident of Amritsar. The father of the deceased said that his son left home late at night to go to Delhi. The police registered a murder case against the unknown and started investigation.

Police suspect this: According to police sources when the corpse was found on Thursday morning, the police informed Anoop's father Tarlochan Singh by phone at 7 am. Tarlochan Singh, along with his second son Karanbir Singh, reached the spot after about 4 hours. The first suspicion to the police came from this because it takes only 45 minutes from Amritsar to reach Harike port. Where the police arrested Tarlochan Singh and Karanbir Singh and interrogated them strictly, they threw out the whole truth. His mother Manpreet Kaur was appointed as a nominee for the amount of insurance for Anoop Singh. All this conspiracy was done for this amount only.
