Google is preparing to make its video platform YouTube the next shopping hub like Amazon and Flipkart. Now consumers will be able to select toys, gadgets, and other items appearing on YouTube for sale online. YouTube, the world's largest video site, recently asked creators to tag and track product features in their clips using YouTube software. Subsequently, the data will be linked to Google's parent company with analytics and shopping tools.
The video category of the product will be created by YouTube. Products will be listed for sale in this video category. Where customers will be able to purchase a direct product by clicking on the link of QR Product Category. Additionally, the company is testing a separate Shopify Inc. A YouTube spokesperson confirmed that the company is testing the shopping feature. He said that the products that will be obtained for sale will be controlled by the maker. At present, the company is seeing it as a use.
Andy Ellwood, President of e-commerce startup Basket, stated that YouTube is the least used property. If you invest in YouTube, you can get a lot of profit. It is not yet clear how YouTube will generate revenue from it. However, the service has started a subscription offer for creators and can reduce the payment by 30%. Many big changes can come.
