Just after the removal of Cyrus Mistry, Ratan Tata, the new chairperson of the TATA Sons Inc. Has planned to make a review on the policies by the previous chairperson. All the CEOs of the group will be called for the review of the terms and policies during the reign of Mr. Mistry.
However, if there are changes that have to be made in the referendums, the commitments that were made by the Tata Sons. Group will be honoured.
In his first meeting with the CEO, Tata said- “We will evaluate (Mistry’s initiative) and continue to undertake those that are required.” By the experts, this sentence means that the group will be discussing on the proposed sale of TATA Steel’s Port Talbot unit in UK. Also a discussion on the long termed dispute with their Japanese partner DoCoMo can be brought up to resolve.
