The last two test encounters were not so tough for the home team because of the opponents. India has easily defeated both West Indies as well as New Zealand in the fashion conquering the series. But this time the team coming is one of the strong contenders in tests and could give a tough competition to men in blue.

England team is for the tour of the Indian subcontinent to play 5 test matches, 3 ODIs and 3 T20 internationals. Before the series beginning with a test match from 9 November, selectors have sat together to give the playing squad against England. In the meeting held on Wednesday, they have declared the name of players for the first two tests.

Because of injury of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Shikar Dhawan, it was a game of choice for the selectors. They have called Karnataka's young Karun Nair who is a good player against the spin. The other names for the opening pair are Murali Vijay and Gautam Gambhir.

Unfortunately, Yuvraj Singh couldn't make it to the list despite having a good form in the last Ranji games. He has scored more than 600 in last 4 Ranji games. Yuvraj would be able to put pressure on the opponents and would be a better option to play at number 6. But, as he is not in, what to discuss about.

Rest we will see how the team plays in the captaincy of the most dependable player in the Team i.e. Virat Kohli. After the retirement of captain cool, Mahendra Singh Dhoni team is having the era of aggressive captain who loves to put the pressure on the opponents to take extra advantage.
