Before 2024, as many as 26 green express highways will be built which will bring down travel time considerably. Once the highways are built, travel time from Delhi to Dehradun, Delhi to Haridwar, Delhi to Jaipur would only take around two hours. Delhi to Chandigarh will be completed in 2.30 hours, Delhi to Amritsar in 4, and Delhi to Mumbai in 12. The Minister was responding to Congress MP Rajeev Shukla's query during Question Hour on the fund availability of NHAI. ".Government is constructing 26 green highways.
