People forced to live in mud houses in village of Jharkhand, not getting benefits of PM Housing Scheme

Latehar: On one hand, the government is not tired of claiming to give houses to the poor under the village-village Prime Minister's Housing Scheme but on another due to the inaction of the authorities, people today are deprived of housing schemes and are living in mud houses.

The Hesselbar village, which falls under the Latehar Sadar block of Jharkhand, is mainly a tribal dominated area. The main occupation of the villagers is farming. As well as this village has 100 houses. But so far no officials and public representatives have stepped into the village. The village people have not been able to get the benefit of the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme till date.

The villagers complained to the block office several times, but the officials gave nothing but assurances. The villagers say that we complained to the chiefs and officials, but only to say that you will soon get the benefit of the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme, but nothing has happened.
