Mumbai: The Maharashtra Police has initiated action ahead of the questioning of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray in the Kohinoor building case. According to the information received, Raj Thackeray has left his Dadar home to appear in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office. Raj Thackeray is scheduled to appear at the ED office at 11 a.m. on Thursday. In view of this, the Mumbai Police has started detaining several MNS activists on Thursday. At the same time, the police have barricaded the two sides leading to their home so that there is no gathering of supporters during the period. While the Mumbai Police has categorically warned MNS workers that strict action will be taken against those who commit impunity during the legal process, Raj Thackeray himself has instructed his workers not to gather at his house or in the ED office. According to the latest information, Section 144 has been imposed in the ED office of MNS chief Raj Thackeray, which includes Marine Drive, MRA Marg, Azad Maidan and Dadar Police Station.
