This player will work in the middle order: Wasim Akram

Former Pakistan team captain Wasim Akram has given big advice to the Pakistan team playing a 3-match Test series against England. Pakistan's team has lost the first Test match of the series against England. In such a situation, former captain Wasim Akram has said that Pakistan's team should give Fawad Alam in the middle order an opportunity in the second and important Test match to be played against England in Southampton.

In a TV interview, Wasim Akram said, "You are not going to be given a turning wicket in the next match. You will play with a spinner and in such a situation you may have to play with an extra batsman." The former cricketer said that Fawad Alam has an average of more than 50 in first class cricket and he should be given an opportunity in the second Test. Akram has also said, "If I were the captain, I would include Fawad Alam in the middle order."

The second Test match between the two teams is scheduled to be played on August 13 at the Ages Bowl in Southampton. The visiting team lost the first Test match by 3 wickets due to some of its shortcomings. Akram blames both the batsman and the bowler for this defeat. He said, "We made a lot of mistakes while bowling in the second innings." He has also said that senior batsmen Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq have not performed well and if your senior players do not perform, the morale of the team falls.
