With the percentage of Indian Students going abroad to study is on a new high as 2015-16 was recorded as the year of outsider, they contributed to $5 billion dollar last year, which is a rise of about 25%. Although, China is the biggest sender of students to other countries with a record of 31.5%.

As the department of Commerce says 5% of the US economy is generated from students coming from other countries and enrolling for Higher education. In numbers 10,43,839  students come from mostly China, India and Saudi Arabia.

Well California and New York are most preferable places opted by the students, from foreign countries. In the list of top 20 universities California has four of these institutes followed by New York University in New York.
