New Delhi: As part of the plan to open 100 electric charging stations in the country's capital Delhi, the demarcation of the first charging station near the metro station in Mundka has been completed on Friday. Jasmine Shah, the Deputy Chairman of the Dialogue and Development Commission of the Government of Delhi, has given information about this. All 100 electric charging stations will be ready within 12 months.

The demarcation work of the government agencies that have given space for starting the electric charging station will be completed in 1 week. CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced the opening of 100 charging stations in the first phase. The Delhi government agency DPA has recently floated a tender to set up 100 public charging stations. A prepaid meeting has been called next week. The government will bear the expenditure on infrastructure.

It's said that efforts are being made to prepare 100 charging stations with 500 charging points ahead of schedule. Most of these charging stations are at DMRC metro stations and DTC depots. These charging stations will essentially have a minimum of 20% low charge and 10% fast charge and battery swapping machines will also be allowed. The process of the country's largest electric vehicle charging station has been started by the Kejriwal government, this will allow people using electric vehicles to get charging when they get out of the house.
