Corona continues to wreak havoc in Indore. Indore has joined the cities where the highest number of corona cases have been reported. On Thursday, a 101-year-old man reported corona positive. After this, the patient was admitted to a private hospital in critical condition. This elderly patient of Indore is among the selected corona patients of the country, whose age is more than 100 years.

Dr Ravi Dosi, Head of the Department of Chest Disease at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), said that the patient was having difficulty in breathing, after which he was admitted to the ICU. All efforts are being made to save the patient's life. Artificial oxygen is being given to the patient. Dr Ravi said that patient is already suffering from chronic kidney and heart disease, due to which treating him is a big challenge. Dr Dosi said that even the 45-year-old son of an elderly patient has symptoms like corona, on the basis of which he has also been admitted to the hospital. His son's sample has been sent to the laboratory.

Dr Dosi further told that the elderly patients did not leave the house even once during the lockdown. They got the infection from another infected family member. Dr Dosi said this on the basis of the conversation with the family. In Indore, corona infection was also found in 95 years old women and 90 years old man. However, both of these elders have recovered from this epidemic and have returned to their homes.
