Corona continues to wreak havoc in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. The number of patients is increasing daily in the state. At the same time, 11 patients have been found infected with the coronavirus in the report of sample of throttle swab of suspects released late Friday and Saturday from ICMR NIRTH and Medical College Hospital.

However, 240 corona positive patients have been found so far in Jabalpur, out of which 9 people died and 176 patients have returned healthy. There are 55 Corona active cases left in the city right now. Four patients of Corona are from Bargi area alone, including 2 laborers who returned from Poona, old people from Bhilai and employees working in the Commercial Tax Department, Bhopal. 3 other patients are from Hanumanatal and Omati region. On Saturday, 5 patients were discharged from the super specialty hospital and sent to quarantine. Of the 48 reports received late last night, four were found positive, including three RPSF personnel. There is also a person talking to Jawak Shramik Special from Mumbai to Banaras.

According to the information received, in the report of 72 samples released from the medical college, two 18 and 20 year old residents of Donda village of Bargi were infected with the coronavirus. Both the youths had gone to Poona for wages and reached Bargi on 21 May, where they were kept in institutional quarantines. A corona-positive patient has been found in a 63-year-old resident and another 35-year-old youth resident near the railway station. The old man arrived from Bhilai on 27 May and the youth reached Bargi from Bhopal on 28 May. The victim is an employee of the Commercial Tax Department in Bhopal.
