Because of Corona, every job is stalled. To bring the economy of Madhya Pradesh back on track, the Shivraj government has done a big job of sending money into the hands of the villagers. So far, more than 11 thousand crore rupees have been transferred to the accounts of more than 23 lakh farmers. 80 lakh metric tonnes of wheat has been purchased from 12 lakh farmers.

In fact, out of these, eight and a half thousand crore rupees have been paid in the accounts of eight lakh 30 thousand farmers. About two thousand 990 crore rupees have been given to Prime Minister crop insurance to 15 lakh farmers. Also, the work of buying gram, lentils and mustard is also going on. 16 lakh villagers are being given work in MNREGA, in this also, wages of two hundred rupees are being made per day. On this, the officials of the Finance Department say that after the lockdown opens, the most important thing to give momentum to the economy, the villagers should have money. For this purpose, wheat has been purchased at more than four and a half thousand procurement centres with precautions between the risk of corona infection. Due to this, till now eight and a half thousand crore rupees have come in the bank accounts of the villagers and by the end of the month, this figure will cross ten thousand crore rupees. Two thousand 990 crore rupees have been given for crop insurance.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has instructed the Rural Development Department to take care that there is no delay in MNREGA wages. The central government has also given 661 crore rupees for MNREGA. Overall, the focus of the government is now that the stalled economic activities should be started at a rapid pace for one and a half months. This is the reason that construction departments like Public Works, Water Resources, Public Health Engineering have been asked to start work.
