New Delhi: The uncontrollable speed of coronavirus has added to everyone's woes. Many state governments have so far taken tough decisions such as night curfews, weekend lockdowns, or complete lockdowns. But the corona speed is not going to stop. Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has written to all states asking them to insist on imposing localized restrictions.

Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla in a letter to the states said states should focus on creating a cantonment zone at the district or city level. Efforts should be made to slow down the havoc of the corona by imposing 14 days of restrictions here. The Ministry of Home Affairs has also informed about where to maintain such strictures. Areas where positivity rates remained above 10 percent for a week in a row. Or fill up to 60 percent of the beds in hospitals.

It has been advised to identify such areas and create a sustainment zone and impose 14 days of restrictions, which should be decided by the local-level authorities only after looking at the situation. In the meantime, the entire area should be banned, night curfew should be imposed. Any public program should be banned.
