Ayodhya: Kartik Parikrama Mela is about to begin. On the festival of Kartik Sudi Navami, on Tuesday (November 1), Navami will start after the conclusion of Ashtami at night 1.09 am, which will remain till 10.37 pm on Wednesday night. With the beginning of Navami, the weekly fair will also be started with 14 Kosi Parikrama. By joining this parikrama, the arrival of devotees started in Ramnagari Ayodhya to become a participant of Akshay Punya. Thousands of devotees have reached from temples and Dharamshalas to lodges and even the homes of common citizens.

To maintain law and order in this fair, the police administration has deployed zonal and sector magistrates, as well as issued a diversion plan. It is being told that this time a large number of devotees will reach Ayodhya for the 14 Kosi Parikrama. Although the entire route was inspected by senior officials and MPs a day earlier, even after this, the system could not be fixed till Monday evening. The administration has alerted all the departments so that no devotee should face any problem in the parikrama. Meanwhile, the fair control room has started in the International Ram Katha Museum. The entire Mela area is also being monitored by CCTV cameras and information is being exchanged through sound amplification devices.

Scientific Importance of 14 Kosi Parikrama:-

Spiritually, it is believed that the sins of birth after birth are destroyed at every step of the circumambulation. The circumambulation is always done in the clockwise direction, only then do we proceed from the south direction. According to Hindu beliefs, God is always in the middle. This place provides the experience of being centred on the divine. At the same time, according to scientists, every religious place has some special energy. This energy is generated by the recitation of mantras and religious teachings and the sound waves emanating from them. By circumambulating the religious place, people get positive energy present there.
