This figure of those who died is within 24 hours only. Within the last 3-4 days, 98 people suffering from heart and brain attacks have died in the city. These figures have been released by the LPS Heart Disease Institute.
Let us tell you that It was informed by the LPS Heart Disease Institute that 14 patients suffering from severe cold died due to heart attacks on Saturday. 6 people died during the treatment at the Institute of Heart Disease, while 8 people suffering from heart attacks were brought dead in the institute on this day. On Saturday, 54 patients suffering from heart attacks were admitted to Cardiology Emergency. A total of 604 heart patients are under treatment at the Heart Disease Institute. These include 54 new and 27 old patients. At the same time, 98 people died due to heart and brain attacks in a week. Of these, 44 died in the hospital, while 54 patients died before treatment.
The Cardiology Hospital in Kanpur is the biggest hospital for heart diseases in the surrounding districts. Patients come here for many days for their treatment. As the outbreak of cold is increasing across North India, the number of patients in Cardiology is increasing. Vinay Krishna, director of cardiology, told that due to the sudden increase in blood pressure in the cold, blood clots are getting frozen in the veins, causing heart attacks and brain attacks. The cold is taking a heavy toll on both the heart and the mind. The doctor says that the patient should be protected from severe colds. Go out only when necessary, cover ears, nose, and head. Doctors have advised people above the age of 60 not to step out in the severe cold.
