Mumbai: The total number of corona infected patients in Maharashtra has increased to 124. While giving the information, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that 15 patients have been cured of this disease and they have been discharged from the hospital and now 124 Corona positive patients are in the hospital. A new case has been registered from Mumbai and 1 from Thane. The investigation report of some suspected patients is yet to come.

Earlier, one patient each in Mumbai and Aurangabad has been discharged. On the other hand, in areas like Kalyan and Ulhasnagar adjoining Mumbai, 28 workers of Jharkhand are stranded due to lockdown. To help them, a tweet was made, after which the district administration has made arrangements to stay and eat them. Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren had informed Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Twitter about the welfare of these labourers and being trapped in Ulhasnagar.

He appealed to the Maharashtra government for help, after which the Uddhav government has shifted these labourers of Jharkhand to a safe place. Meanwhile, the coronavirus test has been started from house to house in Mumbai. Also, BMC has also issued a helpline number. People are being provided with the facility of coronavirus screening at home.
