Madhepura: Facing the havoc of floods and rains, the sting of dengue has now caused havoc in Bihar. People are rapidly reaching the hospital under the grip of dengue. Madhepura district has also been badly affected by dengue. New cases of dangerous disease dengue are coming to light in the district. According to unofficial figures, 150 cases of dengue have been reported in Madhepura.

It is also being told that about 4 to 5 dengue patients are arriving in private hospitals every day for treatment. However, so far only 4 cases of dengue fever patients have been registered in government hospitals. Gwalpada and Bihariganj blocks are believed to be the most affected. As soon as a large number of dengue patients come in front, the health department of the district has swung into action.

The Health Department has come up to the task of neutralizing the sting of dengue. Giving information, Civil Surgeon of Sadar Hospital, Dr Subhash Chandra Srivastava has told that all kinds of arrangements have been made in the hospital to deal with dengue. Along with preparing all the systems to deal with dengue, proper screening procedures, dengue kits and medicines have also been made in the hospital.
