Shimla: The number of corona infected in the state has increased to 4,896 with 167 people confirmed to be infected with corona infection, including a doctor from Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday. At the same time, due to the death of 4 more people in one day from the corona in the state, till now the death toll from the corona in Himachal Pradesh has risen to 28.

In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary (Health) RD Dhiman has told in Capital Shimla that a total of 1,478 patients are being treated in the state right now. He further said that out of the 4 people who died from Corona, 3 were residents of Solan District and 1 was from Mandi. The officer has further told that till now, maximum 7 people have died in Mandi district. Apart from this, 6 patients died in Solan, 5 in Kangra, 4 in Hamirpur, 3 in Champa, 2 in Shimla and 1 patient in Sirmour.

RD Dhiman has further stated that out of 167 new cases, maximum 53 have been found in the infected Solan District. Apart from this, 43 people have been found infected with corona infection in Bilaspur, 26 in Hamirpur, 17 in Kangra, 8 in Kullu and 5 in Shimla. Kullu Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh told this time that 34-year-old doctors posted on corona duty in the district have also been infected and have been sent to the segregation. Dhiman has further told that 107 infected people have also been cured during this period, including 3,341 people in the state have defeated this corona.
