Agartala: With 167 new cases of coronavirus reported in Tripura on Saturday, the number of new cases of Covid has increased to 6,952, while the death toll has reached 50 in the state with the death of 4 more infected people. 1 officer of Health Department has given this information. He said in this regard that 3 men and a 65-year-old woman died while undergoing treatment at Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC).

Official further said, "51- year old patient of Narsinghgarh area of the city died of corona. He was struggling with kidney problem. Another 62-year-old patient of Pratapgarh area also died of Covid-19." He said in this regard that a woman living in Amarpur area of Gomti Districtsheet about 75 km also died. She was suffering from liver disease. The officer further said that a 65-year-old patient of Bishalgarh in Sepahijala District died due to corona. He told that he was also struggling with other diseases.

At present, treatment of 1,796 infected people is going on in Tripura, while 5088 infected people have been cured by this disease so far. Officers said that 18 patients have moved to other states. The cases of coronavirus in India are constantly increasing. On Sunday, 63,489 new cases have been revealed. This is the ninth day when more than 60,000 new cases have come to light. The figure of corona patients has increased to 25 lakh 89 thousand.
