Ranchi: Coronavirus pandemic spreading across the world is not taking its name. The news of the second death due to coronavirus has been reported in Jharkhand, after which the total number of infected cases in the state has increased to 17. The second death was reported from the Trauma Center of Rajendra Institute of Medical Science, Ranchi on Sunday.

The deceased hails from Hindapiri area of Ranchi and is the husband of a woman infected with coronavirus. According to Health Department officials, there was no travel detail of the deceased (60). He was suffering from respiratory disease and was put on ventilator. The first death in the state took place on 9 April in Bokaro district. The total number of corono virus-infected cases in Jharkhand so far is 17, out of which eight have been reported from Ranchi, seven from Bokaro and two from Hazaribagh district.

The Health Department has created two hospitals for coronavirus patients at the state level, with a combined capacity of 155 non-ICU beds and 30 ICU beds with ventilators, while 1449 non-ICU beds and 209 ICU beds have been identified at the district level. Has gone. The total number of beds in the quarantine centers across Jharkhand is 41,630.
