Panic spread at airport, People coming from Kuwait are corona infected

Due to the lockdown, the people who were there are stuck. There has been an atmosphere of panic at the Indore airport staff after the corona report of 18 out of 240 Indians who had recently returned from Kuwait. On the night of 13 May, 240 Indians were brought from Kuwait by two planes to Indore. From where they were sent to Bhopal by bus. They were quarantined at the Army's three EME centres in Bhopal and samples of all have been sent to Corona for investigation. After investigation, 18 of these reports have come positive so far.

17 of them have been admitted to Dedicated COVID Hospital Viva and one has been admitted to Hamidia Hospital. While 10 other NRIs returning from Kuwait have been admitted to the COVID ward of Hamidia Hospital for monitoring of corona-like symptoms. Gandhi Medical College Dean Dr AK Srivastava has confirmed this. Corona test report of 37 samples is yet to come.

The arrival of positive report has created panic among the airport employees, CISF officials and soldiers, Customs and Immigration Department staff. The rest of the airport is being sanitized. According to the airport director, the airport staff was away from the passenger from Kuwait, but a CISF officer was checking them from nearby, so they have been isolated.
