Bhopal: 207 new cases of corona infection were reported within 24 hours. The number of total infected in the state has increased to 10858. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, so far 7677 people have become healthy in the state with corona infection. The number of active corona patients is 2666. 459 people have died in the state so far from infection.

After 80 days in Bhopal, apart from the Containment area, temples and religious places have been opened. However, devotees are only allowed to visit temples. There is a ban on offering incense sticks, offerings, flowers. It is also forbidden to sit in the temple, stand and talk. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan also visited Karunadham temple. Chauhan prayed that he should protect the citizens from this calamity. Earlier, all religious places in Madhya Pradesh were opened from 8 June. However, due to infection, they were kept closed till Sunday in Bhopal.

Another good news has come for Bhopal, the capital has been moved out of 20 Covid-19 infected cities of the country. Now only Indore city is in the state, which remains at number 7 in this list. Earlier, Bhopal was at number 11 and Indore at number four. The state's recovery rate has also improved in the country.
