24 people injured due to blast in Bharuch's chemical factory

Bharuch: A major accident took place in the Bharuch district of Gujarat on Tuesday morning. A fire broke out in the plant of chemical company UPL-5 located in GIDC in Jhagadia. 24 people have been injured due to this blast and fire. It is being told that there was a fire with an explosion at 2 am on Tuesday.

Many fire engines have reached the spot and efforts are being made to control the fire. The accident happened in the company's CM plant. The blast was so intense that its voice was heard for 15 kilometres. The surrounding village felt like an earthquake because of the explosion. In some villages, people had left the house. About 24 employees were injured in the UPL company following the blaze. He has been admitted to hospitals in Bharuch and Vadodara. Although the cause of the explosion has not been clear yet, but an attempt is being made to control the fire. Due to the fire, a smog of smoke is visible all around.

According to the media reports, the blasts in the village Dadheda, Phulwadi and Karlsadi village located around the UPL company have shattered the glass windows of the houses. A large team of fire brigades is present on the spot after the blast. Efforts are being made to control the fire. Top officials of health and district administration are also present.
