In Arunachal Pradesh, the number of infected people has gone up to 21,110 with 257 new cases of corona virus and the death toll due to infection has gone up to 72. A senior health department official informed about the same on Friday.

Talking about this, he said that the capital complex area has received the highest number of 66 cases. This is followed by Changlang (38), Lohit (27), Tawang (23), Lower Subansiri (19), Lower Dibang Valley (16), Namsai (11) and West Siang (10).

In Arunachal Pradesh, 2,164 patients are currently being treated, while 18,871 people have recovered from the infection. At least 180 patients who have recovered since Thursday are also present. State Monitoring Officer Lobsang Jampa said that a total of 4,95,141 samples have been tested for Covid-19. Meanwhile, State Immunization Officer Dimong Padung said that 2,98,924 people have been vaccinated since the vaccination programme began in January.
