Post an argument with his wife, in the pressure of a relationship, a woman hailing from Gurugram ended his life. He hanged himself from a ceiling fan. Well, not just that, the man also streamed live on Facebook and shared his last moments of death. The man who committed suicide was 28-year-old and was called Amit.

He lived in the area of Haily Mandi which is near Pataudi. Subhash Boken, the PRO of Gurugram Police, informed that Amit had a fight with his wife on Monday.

When Preeti left his house, Amit was disappointed with this and decided to hang himself and streamed the entire incident, live on Facebook. Subhash also informed that Amit had been suffering from depression and was seeking treatment at the Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak for quite some time now.

On Tuesday, his dead body was cremated with the final rituals. The police were not even informed.

cases of suicide have increased drastically in the country. Depression has become quite common in our society. And this is a matter of serious concern. We need to take up steps and increase our awareness regarding the same.
