Cold storage centers are ready to preserve the vaccine:Deputy CM

Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Ala Nani said the government machinery is ready for the Covid-19 vaccination in the state from 16th of this month. The Minister said in his camp office in Eluru that there are 30 vaccination centres in each district, one of which will have a center in each constituency. 17 cold storage centers have been prepared to store the vaccine across the state and measures are being taken to provide 24 hours electricity. 17,000 personnel have been trained for vaccination.

The first phase of vaccination has decided to give priority to frontline warriors. The vaccine stored in district headquarters has been arranged to move in special vehicles in the morning to the centers. The collector at the district level, the Tahsildar at the mandal level, municipal commissioners in towns will oversee the program. Every day, the task force committee will be given vaccination report
