Amritsar: Four people were killed in a collision between a car and a private bus in Talwara, Pt. A three-year-old boy was among those who died in the accident. According to the information given by the police, the deceased has been identified as Sushil (20), his brother Kuldeep (21), and his nephew Aryan (3), and Sarabjit Singh (23), all the deceased are residents of Rowley village of Talwara.
Police said, while the car was heading towards Talwara at the time of the accident, the bus was heading towards Mukarian. The bus driver and the conductor left the train and escaped from the spot. The bodies of the victims have been brought to a nearby hospital for postmortem.
According to media reports, Sarabjit Singh was overtaking a train near the Talwara barrier, meanwhile, the truck coming from the front crashed with the car. The four lost their lives in the car on the spot in the incident. Talwara Police has registered a case against the truck driver and is being investigated.
