Virology Department of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College has sent about 500 samples to private laboratory of Ahmedabad On Friday. With this, the number of samples sent to the laboratory located outside the state has reached around 1500 in just two days. Laboratory officials sent 350 samples to one laboratory in Ahmedabad and 142 to another on Friday. Earlier on Thursday, 850 and 150 samples were sent by the authorities to the laboratories. Dean Dr. Jyoti Bindal said on this occasion, 'On Friday, we have sent about 500 samples to two laboratories in Ahmedabad for testing. Earlier on Thursday, we have sent about one thousand samples for testing in various laboratories. '

Samples have been sent to private laboratories outside the state because sampling has increased in the city. The team, which collected samples of bulletins issued by the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, has taken 2487 samples in two days. In addition to getting samples from the city, the virology laboratory is also getting samples from Indore and Ujjain divisions. Random sampling is gathering more samples in the city.

Meanwhile, CMHO doctor Praveen Jadia has said that, 'We have done random sampling in the last two-three days and the number of samples collected has increased. However, as of Thursday, not a single person has been found positive in the sample taken through random sampling. He said that we will get the report of the samples collected on Friday till midnight.
