Agra: Hemp is being smuggled in a tanker from Odisha. In Agra, three smugglers with 505 kg of cannabis were detained before being supplied by the Special STF in Mathura on Friday night. During interrogation, the culprits have given the names of two buyers of Mathura. Their names have also been included in the case. STF Agra received the smuggling of a smuggler from tanker late Friday.

The same tanker was going from Sikandra area to Mathura. STF laid siege on this Tahrir. A tanker was intercepted near the industrial area. The team openly checked the tanker. Hemp was kept in plastic bags inside it. Three criminals were caught. According to the STF, 505 kg of cannabis came out in the tanker. The culprits are Prashant Kushwaha, a Kurganwa resident of Barhan, Rameshwar Meena, a village Bhudia resident of Bayana in Bharatpur and Raghuvendra Singh, a Nagla Asha resident in Chikasana, Bharatpur.

In the same interrogation, the criminals told that they have brought Ganja from Odisha. In Mathura, Baldev Rahwadi Ravendra and Dhruv Jat have ordered. STF filed a case in police station Sikandra. Those who order Ganja are also being investigated. SI Manvendra Singh, Munesh Kumar and Sepoy Prashant were included in the team of STF taken into custody. On August 3, at the JCB intersection of Sikandra, the STF seized a hemp of Rs 50 lakh, hidden in rice sacks, in a truck. Action is also being taken against the criminals.
