The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday agreed its endorsement for opening of new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) each in "62 revealed locale". The cost for the program is Rs 2,871 crore, an official articulation said.
There will be add up to seven Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in Delhi — one each in East, West, South, North, North East, South East Delhi and Shahdara, while Jammu and Kashmir will have five such schools — one each in Srinagar, Bandipura, Ramban, Kishtwar and Phulwama. These Navodaya Vidyalaya are gone for giving quality instruction to the talented kids for the most part from the rural regions. The move is required to profit almost 35,000 students.
