These days, after the new traffic rules are implemented, a strict and disciplined environment is being seen. In Delhi, the number of challans has come down by 70 per cent within a month, but the Delhi Traffic Police says that "It is because of this that they do not have the right to collect the fine on the spot." All the invoices are being made by the court and it takes more time to invoice the court.

According to Delhi Traffic Police officials, from September 1 to September 30, 2018, where 5,24,819 challans were made for breaking different traffic rules, the number is 1,73,921 in the month of September this year.
