RJD gets Congress' support, Akhilesh says 'Modi govt's countdown begins'

New Delhi: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) had appealed to the people to turn off the light of the house at 9 am last Wednesday to burn candles, torches. RJD's campaign also got the support of the Congress and SP. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav lit candles and protested against the central government. In addition, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi attacked the Modi government on the pretext of the RJD's campaign.

Akhilesh Yadav tweeted that he had written a history of tomorrow's change. "Today, the youth have started the countdown to the BJP's reign," he further wrote. "Let us switch off the lights at 9 o'clock tonight for 9 minutes against the darkness of unemployment." 

Besides Akhilesh Yadav, Priyanka Gandhi also tweeted "The youth of the country need employment. They need the opening of their stalled recruitments, date of examinations, notification of new jobs, proper recruitment process and a maximum number of jobs. Instead, the government gives blank speeches, baton charge and neglect".
