A very prominent personality of the Southern states, Nandamuri Harikrishna passed away at the age of 62.

He was born on the 2nd of September in  Nimmakuru, Andhra State, India. Along with his extremely successful political career, he had also been an actor in the Indian film industry.

He had been a popular actor in the Telugu movies. He started off his career in the Telugu cinema as a child artist. The extremely popular leader died in a car accident that took place on Wednesday morning, near Nalgonda, Telangana. 

He was the fourth son of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who was an actor, director, producer, founder of Telugu Desam Party and had also been the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

 In the year 2008, he had contested the elections and was chosen as the candidate for the Telugu Desam Party in the Rajya Sabha.

 Throwing some light on his career in the movies, we would like to inform you that Harikrishna had featured in the movie Sri Krishnavataram for the first time, as a child artist and had essayed the role of little Krishna. The movie released in the year 1964 and was helmed by Kamalakara Kameshwara Rao.

After his first movie, he featured in a number of other ventures like Talla Pellamma(1970, Tatamma Kala (1974), Ram Raheem (1974) and Daana Veera Shura Karna (1977).

Post  DVSK, Harikrishn ahad taken a long gap from his acting career. He returned to acting after a long time through the Mohan Babu-starrer Sri Ramulayya in a cameo performance, that released in the yaer 1998.
