Five-storey building collapses in Ghaziabad, 2 killed, 9 injured

A five-storey under-construction building collapsed on Sunday afternoon in Misalgari (Akash Nagar), located in Mussoorie area of Ghaziabad. During the rescue operation, NDRF took out 11 people at around 3 pm. In this way, the number of injured increased to 9, whereas Rajesh and a 7-8-year-old child died. The child's name is being referred to as Sagar.

Relief and rescue work continued even after midnight. An engineer of GDA has lodged a report against other people including plot owner Dinesh Kumar Singh, builder Mukesh Singh and Krishnapal Tomar in this case. Police are interrogating six persons in custody. 

At about two o'clock in the afternoon, the building suddenly became ground-breaking with a strong voice. Immediately after the accident, local people removed five people from the debris and sent them to the hospital. NDRF, which arrived nearly a quarter of hours, started operation with the police administration to rescue and rescue.

Police and administrative staff reached the spot on the incident's notice. Police say that billings were being made illegally. In this case, a plot owner and five builders have been identified. NDRF Commandant PK Srivastava said that a woman has given information about the six-year-old child being buried. That baby is being discovered now.

Taking cognizance of the incident of setting up the inquiry committee, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has constituted the inquiry committee headed by the Mandalayet Meerut, DM Ghaziabad and ADM Finance and Revenue. The state government also announced a financial assistance of Rs. 50 lakh to the deceased.
