Big news : Indian security forces in J&K neutralized Top terrorist Zakir Moosa’s close aide

Srinagar: In a big win for the Indian security forces in hilly state Jammu and Kashmir, the second in command of top terrorist Zakir Moosa’s group has been neutralized in a brutal encounter. Shakir, deputy chief of J&K-based Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind terror group with reported connections to the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), was gunned down by the security forces in an encounter in Tral, in Pulwama district.

The security forces had set up a cordon in the Hafoo area of Tral following specific inputs about the existence of terrorists. The terrorists opened fire on the Indian security forces and that resulted in a exchange of gunfight.

The exchange of fire is reported to have come to an end, as per last reports. Massive Arms and ammunition along with some documents have been recovered from the encounter place.

Worth mention here in a separate encounter in the hilly state, two terrorists were gunned down in Kulgam. A jawan of the Rashtriya Rifles was also martyred, whereas two jawans of 163 battalion of CRPF were critically injured. The identities and affiliations of the terrorists were being found out.
