Scottish bowler Tom Sole, the 21-year-old leg-spinner, registered a career-best figure 4 wickets for considering 15 runs to set up Scotland's six-wicket victory over Hong Kong at the Bulawayo Athletic Club. With 46-run opening stand between Nizakat Khan and Aizaz Khan gave Hong Kong a promising start after they were put in to bat. However, what followed was a monumental collapse as Sole, Alasdair Evans and Mark Watt ran through the batting order to bowl them out for 91 with 11.4 overs remaining in the innings. Although Hong Kong managed to pick up six wickets, the lack of scorecard pressure meant that Scotland could steadily progress towards the target. Skipper Kyle Coetzer's unbeaten 41 guided his side over the line in the 24th over as Scotland registered their second win in as many games to top the table. It was thrilling chase after dismissed Hong Kong for just 91 runs in 38.2 overs. Scotland lost six wicket while chasing 92 runs. On the other hand Hong Kong at the bottom in the group table B.

 

Brief scores: Hong Kong 91 in 38.2 overs (Nizakat Khan 26; Tom Sole 4-15, Alasdair Evans 3-19) lost to Scotland 92/6 in 23.3 overs (Kyle Coetzer 41*, George Munsey 22; Ehsan Khan 3-29) by 4 wickets.
