"The solution to conflicts should be found through dialogue": Imran Khan responses to call of PM Modi

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and Pakistan’s PM-designate Imran Khan in response to call of PM modi, expressed thanks to Indian premier for his good wishes.

Worth mention here The Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi called the leader on Monday to congratulate him for winning the recently concluded July 25  Pakistan general elections.

 In a gratitude statement released by the PTI, the cricketer turned politician Khan was quoted as thanking PM Modi for his good wishes as asserting: “The solution to conflicts should be found through dialogue.”

"Instead of answers to conflicts, wars and bloodbath give birth to tragedies," Khan further said according to the press release statement.

In his courtesy call to Imaran Khan, PM Modi hoped that democracy would take deeper roots in Pakistan. The PTI chief stated that the two arc rivals governments should work out a joint plan of action to fight poverty in both countries.

On a related note the alley of Pakistan China also congratulated Imaran khan, whose party won 166 seats on the July 25 elections but fell due to short of a majority as the magical number to form the government is 137 seats.

“China welcomes the smooth completion of the general election in Pakistan and congratulates the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led by Mr. Imran Khan for winning this election,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Monday in a release statement.
