Srinagar:On Friday,a soldier is missing and another is in serious condition after an Army patrol party was hit by torrent in Leh's Turtuk.Now, the army has launched a serach force for the missing soldier.
A 'medium danger' torrent warning was delivered for the higher areas of J & K on Friday morning and people were advised to not endeavor into these areas.

The advisory,delivered by the Chandigarh-based Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment that comes under the ministry of defence, will go on effective for 24 hours beginning 5pm Friday.

According to the advisory," medium danger' avalanche warning is issued for avalanche prone areas situated at an altitude of above 3,000 metres. This includes places like Kupwara, Baramula, Bandipur, Kargil and Gandarbal districts of Jammu and Kashmir"
