New Delhi [India], Feb 11: Opening batsmen Shikhar Dhawan reached his 13th ODI ton and thus becoming the first Indian to reach this milestone and ninth overall. But Before Dhawan could further inflict any damage on the hosts, lightning stopped play in the 34.2 overs, with India's score reading 200/2.

Following the resumption of play, Dhawan was the first to depart as Morne Morkel got rid of him, Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed at 109 runs. Ajinkya Rahane too fell shortly as he dismissed by Lungi Ngidi for 8 runs. From 178/1, the visitors slipped to 210/4 and the South African bowlers were firmly on top at this moment.

India all-rounder batsmen Hardik Pandya (9) was the next to depart as he became Rabada's second wicket of the day. A late flourish from Dhoni (42) ensured India gave their bowlers a good target to defend on this relatively good batting surface. Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller's late counter attack helped South Africa beat India by 5 wickets in the 4th ODI of the series at the New Wanderers Stadium. Chasing 290 to remain alive in the series, South Africa were handed a revised target of 202 after overs were lost to stoppage in play due to bad weather. When the players went off the field, South Africa were 43/1 in 7.2. Proteas reached the total in just 25.3 overs.
