Patna: In Nawada, Bihar, a mad elephant fiercely crushed and killed two people. This incident is from Nardiganj and Hisua. It is said that the elephant arrived here from Gaya district. Here people are in panic after the incident. The forest department has alerted all the police stations in view of the elephant.

The mad elephant crushed Vinod Chauhan (40 years), son of the late Shri Chauhan, in Babhnauli village of Nardiganj on Wednesday night. Vinod Chauhan used to work as a laborer. The elephant thrown Anandi Singh (62 years), who was going to toilet to the ground by his trunk in Hisua on Thursday morning. After this, the elephant trampled him by putting a foot on his chest. He too died on the spot. Locals brought both dead bodies after the elephants left. Anandi Singh was retired from PHED operator Begusarai.

The village's Sunil Singh, Mitthu Kumar, Ranjay Singh, Rajiv Kumar, Navneet Kumar, etc., told that the elephant has become very frenzied and was seen by people rushing towards the fields. He is constantly on the move. Here the elephant walked through the fields of Arian, Eknar village and reached the village of Baliari, then he walked towards Nandlal Bigha village. People are running away after seeing it.
