Chandigarh: A sensation broke out near Sukhna Lake when a girl visiting the lake fell on a girl with celestial lightning on the evening of August 15. The girl died on the spot after the incident. According to the information received, the name of the deceased girl is said to be Tamanna, a resident of Derabassi and along with three of her friends, visited the Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh on 15th August.

The victim was taken to Sector 16 hospital where doctors declared her dead and handed over the body of the girl to her family after the post-mortem. The incident took place Thursday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. Giving details of the incident, police said, on receipt of information, the police, including PCR, rushed the girl to the hospital. On reaching the hospital, the doctors declared him dead.

Tamanna's brother Kazim said that they were originally residents of Badaun (Uttar Pradesh) and had shifted to Derabassi a few years ago. On August 15, she went to visit Sukhna Lake with her friends and later learned that Tamanna had died due to celestial lightning. No one at home can believe that the desire was not between us. The weeping of the householders is bad.
