Mumbai: a massive fire broke out in the Kamala Mills compound, a busy commercial complex, in Mumbai's Lower Parel area on Friday, 14 people were taken life and about 12 wounded.

As per the most recent reports coming in, the police have now ordered an inquiry post the tragic unpleasant incident. It has been learnt that an FIR has been lodged in opposition to one of the restaurants '1 Above' for guilty killing.

 News Sources said that the fire broke out at around 12:00 am at one of the pubs, because of a short circuit, located in the compound and spread to the close to buildings.

News agency ANI reported in the morning that the 12 wounded people, who were taken to KEM Hospital, are now out of danger.

The fire has also smashed the offices of the Times media group, together with that of Times Now, ET Now, Mirror Now and Zoom, which were also affected because of  the fire.

According the reports, more than six fire tenders, four water tankers, an emergency ambulance and police rushed to the spot for rescue actions.
