A new suicide case from Andhra Pradesh came to light where women jumped into the Godavari river and attempted to commit suicide, but the police were already there at the same place and rescued her in time. The case took place on Monday, and a woman just came and stopped from the Godavari bridge on the outskirts of Godavari and jumped from there to commit suicide by a police team. The woman from Mulkala in Hajipur Manda of Mancheryal district reportedly jumped into the Gudige Malathi River and came to the Godavari Bridge to commit suicide.

The woman came up to the Godavari bridge and suddenly stopped on the bridge. She started looking here. At that time, the Godavari River police found the woman moving in dubious circumstances, and as soon as she started jumping.  The police reached her and contacted the woman and failed her attempt.

However, after she was rescued, her police began investigating her and found that she was under a lot of pressure. When questioned, she informed her that she had decided to end her life that could not withstand mental and physical violence by her husband and in-laws. The police called her brother and gave him counselling.
