AAP and congress reaches supreme court over order to remove slums

New Delhi: The order to evacuate the slums located around the railway tracks in the national capital Delhi has created panic in political circles. Millions of people have been living in these slums for many years. After the order of the apex court, all political parties are seen active in this matter. To change this order from the Supreme Court, the leaders of many parties are reaching the rate of the Supreme Court. Actually more than 2.5 lakh people live in these slums. Every party is watching this vote bank.

The Kejriwal government of Delhi is going to file a review petition in this case. Congress leaders Ajay Maken and Mahabal Mishra have also filed petitions. The Delhi government, under the guise of the Delhi Urban Shelter Development Board and other laws, will tell the court that the families of the families around the railway tracks cannot be destroyed without making alternative arrangements.

The board has written to the government and told the government that there is an arrangement for alternative accommodation at other places, but other facilities should be given till December. Along with this, the board has also made it clear that only 1060 flats have been built in Sultanpuri area which can be made livable by December. For the rest of management, deferment should be given by March 2021 and till then the slums should not be demolished.
